I have had this for probably a year now. I believe this was the cheapest model I could find, so I expected to find issues regularly. It has met and exceeded my expectations. So far I have had no issues cooling my 168 square foot room and Ie only had to drain the unit twice unless I am running it as a dehumidifier. I don¡®t run a drainage tube, it is very easy to prop it up and put a bowl under it to drain the water every couple months. I run it about 12hrs each night without problems.

This device definitely doesn¡®t live up to the specs. Installed it in my home gym, setting right in front of my bike trainer. The hose connection to the window panel falls out constantly, t never blew cold enough during workouts, and definitely didn¡®t cool down the entire room (only 11 x 13). The AC compressor would turn off as if it was overheating or the thermostat was incorrect. Now the compressor doesn¡®t turn on at all. Falls very short of expectations. Very disappointing for the cost.

Worked for about 2 month, then quit blowing cold air, even when it did blow cool air, it deff wasn’t anywhere near what my old 14,000 BTU air conditioner did. Would not recommend. Also would always leak water from underneath the unit since new.

Original purchase ran for about 1 month and then quit running when the discharge fan disintegrated. Contacted manufacturer and spoke with very polite woman named Mia. I sent photos of the broken squirrel cage, and within a week they notified me they were sending a completely new replacement A/C unit which ran extremely well for the rest of the summer. Can’t say enough about the excellent support I got from this manufacturer. Outstanding service.

Works well. Moves a lot of air. Keeps a 3 car garage with an insulated door in direct sunlight at around a 15 degree differential. That’s not too shabby. Cool enough to get a lot of work done out there.

It cools very fast. My living room and open kitchen are about 350 sqf and it cools them down. The bedroom is not as cool but it seeps in there and is cooler than outside.you can control everything from the remote. If it is high humidity I recommend usingy the hose and a bucket. I recommend it for a 350sqf area. I did not get electric bill yet so I can not comment on the power consumption.

I bought this on July 14th by August 25th it stopped working and the cord melted as shown in the picture. I have no way of contacting the seller in which told me to do. I do not recommend anyone wasting their money on this for $349 it was not worth it

it works very well! almost too well, i sometimes have to turn it down because i get too cold. the cooling ability honestly depends on where you put it. you do have to have it on a stool/table/desk ~30 inches off the ground for the entire room to feel cool, if you set it on the ground it won¡®t make any real difference. another caveat is that it is LOUD. it is not quiet. i don¡®t mind the noise, i can sleep through it better than i can sleep through being hot, but its not at all soft or gentle. the setup was a bit confusing but thats maybe just because my window is slightly too small to accommodate it, overall though not too bad. and it is in my opinion much less an eyesore than any window unit. overall i would recommend it!

I bought this to help supplement the AC on the second floor of our house. We have two central AC units, the main floor runs great, the second level, can¡®t keep up. I received a quote for $10k to replace and upgraded the central unit for the second floor. I am trying this instead. It is placed in the master bedroom and I leave the doors open (French doors) to cool the rest of the upstairs and it does help. I close the doors we don¡®t use. Before using this the upstairs would heat up to 80-81 degrees because I shut off the AC unit or it runs nonstop, now it stays around 77, so still warm but not as bad. If we shut our bedroom door it gets COLD in the bedroom so if you looking to cool down a large room, this will definitely work. It was easy to set up.

We have 2 other brands in a portable a/c unit, and I must say that this is the loudest one I have ever heard! Also, when the condenser turns on there is a loud rattling from within which makes it that much more annoying. I work from home and sometimes I have to shut it off just to hear my clients on the phone. I got this one for my office because it has a higher cooling area. Otherwise it works great, but crazy loud which is really annoying.

This AC unit saved my bacon this summer! My central AC died right before 100 degree days. I got one of these at first and it did struggle a little to cool two living rooms and my kitchen (all open and connected) but it kept it manageable. Now I have two units and it stays SOO cold in here! I’ve even had to turn the temp up because it’s gotten so cold! I definitely prefer these to window units, and will likely be getting another one soon for my bedroom.

Bought this air conditioner to help cool the first floor of my house. Being A large area I wasn’t expecting it to work wonders. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I have 2 other more expensive air conditioners in my bedrooms that do not work nearly as well as this one. My first floor is AT LEAST 750SF and within 15 minutes of running this unit my first floor feels comfortable. Definitely money well spent. However, I have only owned it for A month. Let’s hope it lasts.

It works,, but cannot find out about drainage hose for bottom drain.. I am not pleased that I cannot find any information other than on here. I cannot find the manufacturer and the instruction booklet doesn’t give much information. I changed the # of stars down to 1 because, since I hooked this up, my electric bill went from $105, then the next month to $220 and this next one is over $300. This is not a very energy efficient machine. Also it doesn’t cool as well as the other one that I took out. And the other one never jacked up the electric bill. I only tried to replace it because it was a window a/c and it is getting heavy to install and remove. For the price of the electric increase, I can hire a handyman to move it.

Was very satisfied with the output of this machine BUT I only started using it a month ago and already the unit is leaking from the bottom. This is not an air conditioner that evaporates – you must drain in two locations. I have checked to make sure that each drainage was completed turn to the close position. Hopefully the manufacture will advise. Not a good time to be without the air conditioner! Hot and Humid

I am licensed on up to 5 ton HVAC. 44 years experience with residential, Transit buses and commuter rail HVAC systems. I give this unit 5 stars for indoor cooling and 4 stars in cooling and dehumidifying and uninsulated garage with the two door open at the last seven inches. We are near Tampa Bay. It is July. Today was 95° with 106° Reelfeel. In our 580sq. ft. main room it cooled within ten minutes. It brought the garage to 83° with 51% humidity within one hour. I would say use the dehumidifier setting in the garage. It has about the highest SACC indoor rating in the industry for a single hose units. Its 14k BTU and provides 10,200 BTU SACC, indoor actual cooling. For a single hose units a 28% BTU loss is the Gold Standard. Ideally a two hose system, intake for the condenser is optimal but this life unit is the next best. About 90% of residential retail units at this price are single hose. I have put it through the paces for cooling and the unit has passed my hands on tests with flying colors. Someone reviewed that 61° was in the pictures. That’s your desired setting, not the actual achieved temperature. No residential portable or central unit is made to cool to 61° ambient. The pictures and operation confirm that the lowest setting is 64°. The exhaust hose and window kit are very high quality. For patio doors sells a kit at $36 that is the same quality. 5 star unit hands down.

Not happy at all. Finally installed today, was 90. I turned it on cool & blew all my breakers. Unplugged everything major in the house & let it run a couple hours. Barely got a cool breeze out of the thing & unit was extremely warm to the touch.

Ie only ran this air conditioner twice and every few hours IT SHUTS DOWN IN FE MODE!! When I looked up what FE means he indicated that water tank was full when I go to drain there is hardly any water in the tank not sure why the FE is coming on if there is hardly any water in the tank??

Works great. Window spacer wasn¡®t long enough. Hose outlet is to big around. It hits the wall. Had to cut a 1×2 to use as a spacer and a piece for the top of the window slider because it was about 6 inches to short. Instructions are for a different style. The ac works great

IMPORTANT: read the manual before start. Leave the plug in while it is on so it doesn’t over heat and add the drainage hose on when you hear a beep sound to drain. If you don’t have a problem picking up 50 pounds then this has wheels it’s portable and the size of this is big I love it. I just bought this unit and started use it the day after a got it. Soon I realized that the drain plug was missing and the drain itself damaged. So I had to improvise a “hose” to keep my floors from getting damage. I sent an email to the seller, let’s see what happens. As for the unit itself, I love it. The noise is louder than what I expected, so I keep it in the living room because it would disrupt my sleep. Easy to operate, nice design.
