You can see from my photo why I finally replaced my old window air conditioner. This portable unit only uses a small portion of the window opening for the exhaust hose, so I get almost the entire window back. It’ll also be *far* easier to remove and store at the end of the season than wrestling a heavy window unit.For my bedroom, this 12,000 BTU unit cools the space completely and has had no trouble keeping up during hot weather. It runs quietly enough that I have no complaints there.The only issue I noticed right away is that, in Cooling mode, both the compressor **and the fan** shut off completely once the set temperature is reached. I’m used to having a constant fan for white noise while I sleep, so the silence woke me up every time it cycled off. After checking the manual and experimenting, I believe holding the fan speed button enables a continuous fan mode.I’m happy with it. It cools well, frees up almost my entire window, and is dramatically easier to install and remove than a traditional window AC.

I love this item and the only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because of the flimsiness of the exhaust hose. It was difficult to thread into the exhaust and feels like it will come out with a touch. It does however cool very well for the space we bought it for.

Amazing! Keeps my 2nd floor bedroom cool without needing to over cool the entire house. Two story houses are terrible to get evenly cool. This unit is easy to set up and keeps my large bedroom nice and cool at night. It’s a must for anyone with a warm room.

Took a little while to cool the room, the app is rated very low, and it is very loud with vibrations. That being said it was on the cheaper side as far as window ACs are concerned and it’s better than no AC. Install was simple enough and it fits my window just fine.

This little thing is a power house. We got it to use while our AC unit was getting fixed. It cooled off two rooms in the house with ease. It gets it cold. It is not really loud. There is some noise but you stop noticing after just a bit. I would buy this again. Great value.

Works OK but will not connect to WiFi for wireless control. That was one of the main reasons why I picked this model. Very unhappy about that. Thinking about returning it. There is no support available and I have tried all the troubleshooting steps in the manual.

Bought the 10k btu unit. The measurements in the listing are not correct but not a deal killer. The packaging is bare minimum. Some damage to the cooling fins, there is just not enough protective packaging. It does include all necessary hardware, though I recommend a support mounting bracket, sold separately. Unit chills very well. It has a WiFi function that theoretically would allow you to remotely adjust the unit. Could not get that to work, but for my application it is not necessary. My only major knock is that the air plenum inside is made of very cheap compressed styrofoam. Very thin, you can almost see through it. Since that part is outside my concern is that it will deteriorate from UV exposure. Time will tell.

This product is terrible. It is terrible. It is terrible. I cannot get it to connect to my Wi-Fi and this is the second time because I bought the first product that said to Mark and I called to return it and I ordered another one called Sierra something and it turns out it is the same product and it is trash. There is no customer service whatsoever to help connect to your Wi-Fi and now I see that I am not the only one with this problem so stay away from stay away from Tallmark stay away from Sierra whatever. It is trash.

Absolutely love this unit. Fits window perfectly and cools in seconds! I love that I can turn it on with my phone on the way home from work so I can walk into a cool room. (I work 13 hour shifts in a non climate controlled facility) this is great! Love the remote as well! And the anti mildew feature. My old unit got so nasty so hopefully this one will stay clean because of that feature. Great buy! Worth every penny!

I regret buying this Window AC unit. I also regret paying a handyman to install it, now it will cost me more money to return it and buy another unit and reinstall the new one. It does not cool my 200 sq ft living room at all, it’s still is 80 degrees in my living room when it’s 90 degrees outside. This is unacceptable. On top of that it’s extremely loud. If I want to watch TV I have to turn up the volume by another 10 points. Don’t waste your. money.

Does its job cooling the room, with one real annoyance: whenever the unit ramps up or down in temperature, the indoor side pops and creaks as the parts expand and contract. It can be startling if you are trying to sleep nearby, so keep that in mind for bedroom placement. Otherwise it has been dependable and keeps the space comfortable.

The first day the top & both sides of the ac was overheating and felt extremely hot ! I had to turn the ac off because I thought it would explode and start a fire. There was a burning scent coming from the fan. Unbearable noise and vibration coming from the ac you can even feel it. Today the AC is not hot in the sides or top, and it is blowing out super cold air, however, the ac continues to vibrate and make noise.

The tube that connects the AC to the wall is a piece of crap. It is thin and flimsy, and my room feels hotter since turning this on. The tube doesnt connect well to either piece. Also, the window piece is either way too short or way too long for a standard window.
