Worked very well for 3 months. Easy to set up. Used to cool our bedroom at night so we don’t have to cool the whole house. And then, last night it started grinding and screaming. The compressor has failed. I guess I should have bought the extra warranty protection for it. I have used portable air conditioners in the past and have never had one fail this quickly.

The air conditioner definitely call the room off for the first week it made noise. Maybe the fan wasn’t balanced and then all of a sudden it stopped. Other than that I think it’s great.

This is a really nice ac unit but definitely meant for smaller rooms. Here’s what I like about it:- Compact and clean design. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and looks good when in position.- It’s very quiet when running at full power. My last unit was very loud so it’s a relief to have this unit so quiet.- The controls are easy to use and work well. It has a very simple digital lay out that makes is a breeze to operate- The included remote is nice. I have this unit in a bedroom so the remote is nice to have on the night stand- It blows cold air quickly

So far so good….BUT, the plug had grease all over it and a small melted spot. It works and it’s hot in here so we will use it for now and keep a close eye on itOk. Still works fine but way TOO LOUD 😟

1 day installed and I’m very happy !! 12000 BTU in a 190sqft FLORIDA ROOM…more windows than wall..used room darkening curtains as well and keep sliding door to house shut ! Very nice unit..easy install..75lbs..remote too..Just hope it stays running : )

Have not even owned for one year and now that we’re setting it up again from last summer , it’s not blowing cold air at all . Horrible product. Waste of money .

My window sill is 44in wide. We had to cut a piece of Styrofoam from the pkging to stuff into the remaining open space and its closing weird now. Idk what else to do but stuff a towel or something around the random openings. I hope it’ll be good enough for the upcoming rough Oklahoma summer. Our central ac went out and the landlord just can’t afford to replace it “yet”. I think these measurements should be included in the product listing.

I haven’t hooked the unit up yet because the advertisement said it comes with 50 feet of tubing. It actually comes with about 3 feet, so I had to order additional tubing and am waiting for delivery. I expect the unit to work well once it is set up. Will write again then.

So far Im middle of the road in sentiment about this unit. I got the NEW-12K-115V-19 SEER2 unit, Thinking NEW in that thumbnail title means its the NEW model. Its not. NEW does not mean “with WiFi, Remote Control & Easy Installation Kit 2025 new”. So Im not sure what selecting: NEW-12K-115V-19 SEER2 unit even does, if anything. TWO, it mentions a line length of 50ft 15Meters. Mine came with lines marked 3 meters and I’d say 3 meters would be a generous measurement. I used a string to measure the high and low sides and determined theyre about 10 feet. Its also important to note the weight of the outside condenser, on the 12000 BTU unit 115 volt, is 55 to 57 lbs. In the manual it says make sure the mount holds 4x its weight, but haven’t found where that weight was given. Also the box the Condenser unit came in was ROUGH, like it had been hanging out in a dirty ware house. So the box was trashed and stank of mold, with the bottom of the box disintegrating, which may have made a return difficult. THE GOOD: the condenser inside the box looked in new condition. The NEW part of this deal, doesn’t leave me too sore, since one I used a coupon to put the price down to the standard NOT NEW version and Im not too interested in the WIFI feature or what looks to be a bigger condenser blower fan, which Im basing off of advertisement pictures of the unit that features WIFI 2025 NEW. It never advertised WIFI, it just advertised a vague NEW in a selection option. The sore part of the deal is 10 feet of line. That leaves me pretty sore, since it could have been 15ft. But 10 feet gets me 5 feet of horizontal run away from the wall penetration. The Condenser unit fan is also a metal blade. The condenser coils have a blue hue, leading me to believe theres some anti corrosion technology baked in. It is a big unit that seems well built. UPDATE: The listing is now updated to rectify the issue of NEW-12K-115V-19 SEER2 button. The button no longer exists, so thats great. Customer service has reached out to me to confirm the inside unit is pressurized with dry Nitrogen for shipping, not R32. I mentioned this to my installation . and he started yelling it was charged with R32. I have no idea what he was on about, but I figure it cant hurt to bend these lines while under pressure from the nitrogen, before releasing the nitrogen charge by taking off the shipping caps and attaching the line set. Two it means pull a vacuum, like the instructions cover. Dont skip that step. I believe there is 1 manufacture that has proprietary that enables lines and air handlers to be shipped with R32 inside, but this is nitrogen. The included 3 meters of line set was the amount of line set I needed to get the condenser unit far enough away from my main A/C unit. I was afraid 3 meters of line would not be enough and the 2 units would blow hot air at each other, potentially reducing each others efficiency. Im running this unit off of solar power, so I get to see how much electric its consuming based on reports from my Inverter and its absolutely sipping electric compared to what heat and cooling its able to put out compared to that 3 ton grid tied unit. Power factor is pretty important to me so I am very pleased. After installation and Operation Testing It works great.

I took a chance and ordered this before there were any reviews posted so I was pretty sure it was a brand new model. Other than delays in the shipping of my order I’m happy with my purchase. The 10,000 BTU model is a 2nd or 3rd unit in the main living area of my 1970’s mobile home. We have 2 window units that just can’t keep the “open plan” area of the living room & eat in kitchen (plus we like to keep our bedroom door open) cooled down once the temperature exceeds the 80’s. We’ve had a lot of extremely hot weather already so I wanted to make sure we’re prepared for a long hot summer. We’ve had several extremely hot days to test the new and it had no problem getting the house cooled down quickly, including the bedroom. I don’t find it loud at all. My husband had it unboxed and set up to vent and drain in a few minutes. He insists on setting it up higher and having the drain hose drip into a bucket (because of an old unit of this type that we had) but the hose could be directed out the window and the unit could sit on the floor.

Worked ok on normal 70 degree weather. The moment things got hot at 100 degrees it stopped cooling. Such a shame. Not a bad product but it’s definitely not able to push on hard hot humid weather. And I had it attached to the window. One morning I checked and it had the entire left side frozen. Then it broke.
