Bought this air conditioner as a backup for when my power goes out . To run of my generator only run it for ten minutes n it cooled down the 350 feet quickly so I am sure when the time comes it will do the job

Started leaking after one use –
It worked well for two seasons, but when we pulled it in for the 3rd season, just after the warrantee ran out, and it would not show a sign of life. Go find JOHOKA’s contact information for maintenance? Not visible even on their web site. Who knows where they exist? Finally found an email address, and bounced it as unable to deliver.Hang in there, there may be an update someday soon.

I try before you buy –
Loose bolt inside. I had to remove the cover to keep it from finding the fan blades. No missing tho so it’s extra.A little light makes it through the plastic vents. Not a problem really.The cooling and controls are wonderful tho, and it’s strong and efficient so far. No larger or louder than the 5000 BTU unit it replaced.I’d love to give it the 5th star, but won’t. It’s an honest 4.5 tho

It doesn’t use refrigerant like a traditional air conditioner. Instead, it pulls warm air through water-soaked cooling pads, and as the water evaporates, it naturally cools the air before blowing it back into the room. It’s more of a refreshing, moist cool breeze rather than ice-cold AC air, and it works best in drier, well-ventilated spaces. Once I understood that, I appreciated it a lot more for what it’s designed to do personal spot cooling.One thing I really like is how lightweight it is. That makes it easy for me to move from room to room without struggling. I’ve used it in the bedroom and then moved it into my office during the day. The carry handle helps, and it doesn’t feel bulky or overly heavy like some other units.The controls are straightforward. I can adjust everything from the touch panel on top or use the remote, which is convenient at night. After turning it on for the first time (in hot Florida), after a few minutes, it was blowing out cold air at 48F! The inverter run compressor is quiet with no large sounds or electrical spike when it turns on/off. I like that it has DUAL HOSEs and a heater function. The model number is TAC-10CHPDNWSGBp.
