I bought two of these, they do pretty good in our bedrooms. Here in Texas we have had temps well above 100. The Central AC unit just couldn’t keep up.. We still can;t keep the whole house below 75, but at least the bedrooms are nice and cool.I think the price might be a tiny high..Noise level: you can hear them fairly well. They are not quiet, but not so loud either.They do an all around good job.

Not a good made product. I had to get a replacement because it quit. Now I’m getting a refund for the replacement.

We just received it today. The box looked ok. Once the box was opened the styrophome packaging was broken up. But nothing looked damaged. Now we have installed it & it is making a funny noise….pin pointed it down to the fan. It’s loud when we started but as it runs it gets quieter. Thats more of a shipping issue. So far it’s working well.

Right now, this works great, but… it doesn’t have to work too hard at the moment. I tested it out because that’s what I needed to do to make sure it works and it does. It will cool a room and it will do so nicely. I didn’t stick around to find out how long it stays cool, because I received this in Feb. and it’s already freezing cold in the Northeast and I prefer to run my heater and not have a window open to run an Air Conditioner. I’ll do a more “in-depth” testing when we have a hot Spring day, or Summer day – but if you want to purchase this before the Dog days of Summer arrive, I feel confident it saying this is a good purchase. It will cool you’re large room or perhaps your small studio apartment. It’s going to make you’re electric bill higher, but if you’re hot, you’re already accepting that, because you’re looking for an AC unit to buy. Enjoy the cool air this summer with this little unit.

Took awhile getting here. Yet, easy setup, easy directions for the use, and quite effective I live in a Rural Desert community and everyone uses evap coolers. I recommend this product for all older homes where wood swelling is a problem for door jams, wooden windows etc.

DO NOT BUY! Hot air comes out the vent pipe. (Tried taping it up) Leaks water about 3 gallons a day(I live in New England not that humid out. ) Need to keep a tray underneath. As you can see in photo. Vents where the cold air comes out, need to be taped open. Not a good machine at all. With the hot air that escapes this machine is fighting itself. Plain and simple this unit sucks.

This is a great portable A/c unit. Like a window unit this will need a outside hook up if you plan to run it for long periods of time. But unlike a window unit that can be a pain to install and has to be certain windows this can go anywhere. It is rather light weight for its size and has wheels to make it even easier. You plug this into an outlet and within a few minutes you have ice cold air coming from the unit. It has a remote also where you can set a thermostat and or control the fan speed. This unit is also pretty quiet which is also nice but let me tell you when you want/need that a/c this thing could be pretty loud and I wouldn’t care.( its not loud at all though, that was just a reference) Love this thing and the main reason is to help with an upstairs that the main unit has problems keeping cool on the hot days and this just makes it like it could snow up there. Well built and quality constructed just as good if not better than the ones I looked at at the big box stores.
