I put this in a room that always runs warmer than the rest of the house, and it made a noticeable difference without taking up a ton of space. The instructions were clear enough that I did not have to guess much, which I appreciate with anything that has hoses and panels. The plastic housing feels decent, the remote is convenient, and the overall quality is good for the price. It is not silent, but that is expected with this kind of unit, and the cooling performance makes up for it.For daily use, the durability seems promising so far. I like that it can be moved if needed, but it does not feel like a cheap lightweight appliance that will crack the first time you bump it.
