Waste of money. The window exhaust ventilation is cheap plastic that doesn’t fit in any window. The vent won’t stay connected to the panel and the panel won’t sit in the window. This is an expensive piece of junk, use a real store.

It is not drain-free as advertised; it will shut off in the middle of the night when the tank gets full, and this happens often. Because it is advertised as drain-free, it doesn’t come with a drainage hose. Be aware that this will be an extra cost. Other than that, the little unit works well.

Buy this if you enjoy struggling to get the exhaust hose attached and getting it to stay attached. It would be great if I didn¡®t have to resort to taping and retaping the exhaust hose to the outside vent constantly. It is powerful but I don¡®t understand why the exhaust part is so difficult. For all this money, I expect better

Honestly I am a little disappointed and this air conditioner. I thought it would be strong. I had 12,000 unit before in the window and it worked really well but this 12,000 does not seem to work as as good.

My upstairs bedroom gets 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit (about 29-32 degrees Celsius) for several weeks in the summer. The window in that bedroom is too small to fit a traditional window air conditioner, so I chose this one. The timer function is also important to me, as I often want to turn it on before bed to cool the room, but I don’t need it to run all night. The air conditioner came in good condition, and assembly and installation were easy. The first time I turned it on, it lowered the room temperature by about 15 degrees Fahrenheit (about 8 degrees Celsius) in just over an hour, which I was very satisfied with. However, as the summers got hotter and I used the air conditioner more frequently, its performance began to disappoint. If I run it continuously for more than an hour or two, it randomly switches from “cooling” mode to “fan” or “dehumidifying” mode without any intervention. In fact, I usually only notice it has stopped “cooling” and switched to fan or heating mode when I wake up in the middle of the night and find the room temperature has reached 85 degrees Fahrenheit (about 29 degrees Celsius), while the machine is still running. This is really disappointing. Air conditioners are expensive to run, and I don’t want them running for hours on end if they don’t actually lower the room temperature¡ªwhich is why I bought them. Besides, the timer and automatic function are both malfunctioning. Now, I really regret not buying an air conditioner with a manual knob. It’s only been a few months, and I’m already looking for a replacement for next summer.

It doesn¡®t come with a hose. I had to buy one separately because the tub gets full every few hours and the unit stops working until you drain out the water. Very inconvenient having to drain out water every 4 to 6 hours to get it to turn on again. I wouldn¡®t recommend it. Unfortunately I threw out the box and everything and couldn¡®t return it.

I’m giving this 4 stars & not 5 only because its not user friendly. It was frustrating figuring it out bcuz there was no instructions on how it works. Once I figured out how to work the settings it works very well. It’s able to cool 2 average size rooms at the same time. It’s in my bedroom & it cools all through my living room. I recommend it.

We bought this for our bedroom in our old townhouse. The HVAC doesn¡®t work so well on our top floor. Cold in winter and it is like a furnace in the summer. This AC cools the room quickly and actually gets cold. It is a bit noisy when the compressor kicks in so if you can manage the noise, it does the job. The compressor kicks in several times throughout the night as it regulates the temperature in the room. It takes up some floor space and we found it hard to set up the window kit. The hose keep slipping out of the window because it does not feed into the grooves as it is supposed to. We have purchased another type of window kit to see if it work better than what came with this AC and I will update our review once we receive and use the new kit.

So first off, I wanted to say mines arrived with a small puncture in the middle and a somewhat damaged window kit, but I was able to make things work out in the end. This AC is HEAVY, and got some nice weight and height to it. Assembling everything together doesn’t take long, although the window kit can be a bit of a hassle, but nothing to difficult. This AC has multiple modes; Cool, Fan, Dry, and Smart, but as of now, I’ve only experienced Cool mode, and I must say I’m VERY impressed! This thing cools the room within seconds, even faster combined with my Dreo Tower Fan. The noise from this was no issue, I could easily use this AC for exercising, and resting. It also comes with a remote control to which more options are available only when using it. The performance from this AC is simply amazing! Easy 10/10!
