This 14,000 BTU portable AC thoroughly cools my large living room quickly and consistently. While it is louder compared to smaller units, that is expected with higher power. The noise is still reasonable.

The window kit that comes with this unit didn’t fit well in any of my windows, the plastic was too narrow and it caused the connecting piece to hit the lip of window. The next issue was this didn’t manage to cool my living room (~300 sq ft) so I moved it to my sons room (~180 sq ft) where it did an adequate job. Lastly – the unit went bad in the middle of the night and was making enough noise to wake my 7 year (he’s a sound sleeper). So with the unit making this horrible noise I looked to return it – only to find out that it was 10 days over the return window. If you need an AC unit for a small space for approx 40 days, this might work for you. If you would prefer to spend your hard earned money on something that works, look elsewhere.

This is hands down the worst product Ie ever purchased. Didn¡®t even come new. Came missing parts, probably a return. Didn¡®t even work when it arrived. I have a 150 sqft, window unit that 15 years old that works better. Total junk!

Only half of the vent flows air. Other half is blocked. It is a little loud, not too quiet. Worked great for 3 months, and now it does not get the room cold at all. Doesn¡®t circulate extremely well, so have an oscillating fan to help circulate the cold air. Remote isn¡®t as pictured, much more basic but it works. Takes a while to cool my apartment which is around 750 sq ft. Missing filter at back of coils, and coils are now starting to ice over. Tried emailing customer service for Zstar Life and no reply for weeks. Still waiting. Warranty seems like it’s a fraud. I registered it, but now I’m unable to get in touch with anyone to process my issue. Water does not drain easily, and will need a pump to drain it out. Total waste of money.

The box was damaged. There was parts missing. I decided to plug it up and try it anyway and it didn’t cool. Product had visible damage as well
