Works great right out of the box. Took some adjusting on the window kit to get to fit my window properly but once installed the A/C cranks out cold air perfectly and makes my room livable finally during the hot summer months of 100 plus degree weather.

I have installed a lot of mini split and this one is the worst experience I ever had, not for the installation but for the purpose it was created. A 8×8 room completly insulated it doesn’t cool only refresh, this product is garbage, please do not make the same mistake I made. Do not buy it!

I’ve only had it for a day but so far it works great. I really don’t get all the complaints about the set up being difficult. You get an AC unit, an exhaust hose and a drain tube, took like 5-10 minutes to set up from the moment I opened the box.

Unit received covered in a greasy substance. I contacted customer support, who did not reach out but did send spam to the contact points I supplied. I installed the unit about two weeks after receiving it and let it run throughout the day and at no point did it blow cold air. The dehumidifier function is excellent. Unfortunately, it does not cool.

Disappointed description was erroneous NO REMOTE CONTROL INCLUDED and description says cools 250sq foot room actually only cools 150 sq foot but not very cool even with 150sq ft room. Says its quiet but found it very noisy especially when running on cool cycle which u need because its not very powerful at all.

I purchased this mini splkit it works ok but the problem is the customer support is really pathetic. I called their phone number and I had to leave a message – good luck if you have any issues with ur new minispli and need to contact customer support.

Living in Las Vegas, we have have some really hot and dry summers. We spend some time in our garage and it can get quite hot when we are working on projects. So…here comes the Air Cooler 3000 CFM Evaporative Air Cooler with a 5.3 gallon water tank. It comes with 4 ice packs, has 3 different fan speeds and can oscillate back and forth inside the fan area. To test it, we first put the 4 wheels on and then opened the lid. We froze the ice packs the night before. Then we put the ice packs under the lid and poured many pitchers of water onto the ice packs so that the water can flow thru the little black drain. Then we waited for the bottom to fill. It look many pitchers of water to get it even half full. There is no light in the water level indicator area. Then we plugged it in and it and turned it to “cooling” and fan speed 3. It made a bit of a noise so I opened the lid to watch it in action. How it works is it sucks the water back into the top so it can sit where the ice packs are and then it pushes the water out the back via these little holes. Then the water passes in back of the fan and that’s how you get water cooled air. Pretty cool to see it in action. After that first noise of turning it on, I didn’t hear the noise any more. You only hear the fan which I find to be a white noise kind of sound which is great. This little beast worked best in our 2 car garage. I did try it outdoors (even though it says it is not for outdoors in the manual). I liked it outdoors too! I layed in the sun on a chair and then hooked up this fan under a covered patio and I felt a nice breeze while I enjoyed the sun. The tank is really big so I am yet to have to refill it. So far so good! Two thumbs up!Plus it comes with a remote control which works quite nicely and it is a decent value for the money.

This portable air conditioner has been a total lifesaver for our home. It has absolutely transformed the temperature downstairs, cooling the entire first floor incredibly well. It is powerful, efficient, and makes the living space so much more comfortable during the hot months. I am kicking myself for not getting this unit years ago! It handles larger, open spaces beautifully and keeps the air fresh and cool all day long. If you need a serious AC that can handle more than just a single bedroom, I cannot recommend this enough.

The A/C unit is very heavy and it came with a broken castor wheel which may have occurred in transit. It doesn’t affect operation. And would be a huge hassle to return. I just shimmed that corner up. The unit does not roll well on my carpet anyway.

I bought this to replace another A/C I returned. It was a larger capacity unit so I thought it would not have the same issues as the last one I ordered. Boy was I disappointed. 1. The water reservoir filled every 24 hours. None of my other A/Cs have done that. Not even the smaller one I had in the same room before this. 2. When the water tank filled and the unit shut down every so often I would hear a water leak sound. The unit was pushing out water and overflowing all over my floor! And I am not talking after sitting for hours or days. If the tank filled while I was sleeping, by morning there were puddles on the floor. It has to be emptied immediately or it would do that almost every hour until it was emptied. And it was a significant amount being pushed out. Don¡®t get this unless you want to empty it every single day and deal with water leaks.

This unit is wonderful it’s pulled 2 gallons of water out of the air in less than 10 hours. I want another one ! I don’t want to be without one ! be sure to install it correctly u can feel the hose taking the hot air out of the room.now it’s froze up but now it’s froze up had it less than 2 weeks

This air conditioner was probably as advertised but I wasn’t aware as to how far out away from the window it needed to sit. The size of the unit plus the allowance for the vent hose to access my window made it stick out much too far into my room.

Cools the room good, the only problem is the window slider doesn’t fit properly in the window. The hose is connected to the slider piece with one screw which has broken. Not sure how it’s going to work now. $401.99 it should be put together better.

Takes a 125v outlet, anything less well cause it to trip and cut off. Needs a window to vent the hot air.

Works great. Nice cold air cools an average size bedroom. All window exhaust parts are there and they are all pretty much the same for all models. Two criticisms I have, first is that I would like the water drain port to be a few inches higher so could put a container under it easily to drain the water. The second is the slats that drict the cool air are too loose and almost close under their own weight. This makes the horizontal slats point mostly at the floor. I will probably wedge foam or something similar so the slats are horizontal to blow the air straight out instead of at the ground. Great price, 30 dollars of with instant coupon plus free shipping. The air conditioner came in about four days from Fontana California to Norcal. No damage to the package or to the AC itself.

Not even kinda ventless. It comes up on a search for ventless Portable AC and even shows a picture of using it as such. It is NOTHING of the sort. This unit produces so much heat if you use it ventless it actually raises the temperature in the room. You can Probably get the room up to a nice 85 degrees or so. If you can’t vent it outside. Just move on. There probably isn’t a solution for you. This is NOT an inexpensive miss representation. Shipping it back is probably ridiculous. but will have to check. Adding stars to see when it will actually allow me to post a comment. It tells me it does so but never actually posts. Gee funny that. Updating this post. Requested a return. They didn’t deny it they just deleted it. So there there is your customer service. Better hope your unit works. I’ve been hitting this sort of thing more and more with purchases. Might just be time to start buying in person again.

I was skeptical about portable ACs, but this one exceeded my expectations! It is energy-efficient (way cheaper than central AC) and cools my 300 sq. ft. living room perfectly. The low noise level makes it great for home offices too. If you want powerful cooling without high costs, this is the one!

This is a very durable cooling air conditioner. It’s a perfect size for a small space. I’m using it in my office and it stays cool. It’s not very noisy but it is an air conditioner so it’s not noise free.

I live in Arizona where it’s been 118-119 during the day. I work from home and my apartments AZ doesn’t work that great so I bought this portable ac to help out and to keep me cool while I’m working. Not only does it keep me cool while working, I sometimes have to put on a sweater because I get cold. The size is perfect and it’s not to noisy. I would definitely recommend buying if you need something like this .

I leave this on over night, sometimes in the evenings when it’s humid. I live near the beach & this has been a great tool for managing the changes in climate.However, a little bucket would be a great help for the water drainage you’re left with on a daily basis. It’s pretty much a safety hazard if you don’t pull out one of your own kitchen appliances.But I do appreciate the technology overall. They could throw a free bucket in to complete the functionality!
