This continues to get 5 stars.. WHY????? In 95 degree heat we lost our AC. Ordered this based on reviews. I rarely write reviews. All I can say is MOVE ON!! The vents point straight up not into the room. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE VENTS! You CANNOT adjust them!!! SO! If you want your ceiling cooled off this is for you!! If you want your rooms cooled off look for a different one!!!! Don¡¯t say I didn¡¯t warn you!!!!!! Here¡¯s what I did to make it blast the cold air into the room. See picture.

10/10 Recommend!We ordered this mini split because our master bedroom was always much warmer than the rest of the house. We were running the central A/C almost around the clock just to keep our bedroom comfortable, while the rest of the house felt like a freezer.This thing has been a game changer! We don’t even run the main A/C at night anymore. We had it professionally installed, and the entire installation took about an hour.The unit so far has been great. It’s extremely quiet on the lower fan speeds, and even on the higher settings, the sound is gentle….Sounds like a wind breeze. Honestly, it’s soothing and helps me sleep well..definitely not loud or distracting.We live in Georgia and it gets hot!!! It has been around 100 degrees all week. Ive had my central AC on 76 instead of 71-72 and off at night.SN: If you close the bedroom door, it will freeze you ??

Bad first impression you can¡¯t use it for 24 hours after you receive it. Oil leaking out of the bottom of the unit we¡¯ll see if it works tomorrow¡

These coolers can provide a good economical way to cool your room. The cooler provides bottles the you can freeze to get the water in the bottom to stay cool. This cooler can hold a lot of water and can provide great cooling effects in dry environments. Part of the problem with coolers like this is that in high humidity environments they are less efficient and do not cool as well. Being in a generally humid state, this did affect performance. This cooler did work well and it was not particularly loud. Overall, this is a relatively inexpensive way to cool a room and remain comfortable during the warm seasons.

I’ve waited to write this review so I could give it a chance to actually be used. Installation went well for my first ever install of a mini split and I must admit I took extra time to learn as I go as well. I do have plenty of experience in multiple areas of home improvement so I have an above a basic understanding of HVAC and electrical along with plumbing so it went well but of course every install is different and not as easy as some of the videos you see on line so prepare yourself for this.The one issue that wasn’t clear was the supplied AC power cord from the outside dis-connect to the unit. It was supplied with a SO style cord that looked to be 16 maybe 14 AWG and I didn’t feel comfortable using this since I ran 10-AWG solid wire to the unit so I ran the 10-AWG wire which was a little difficult attaching to the terminals inside the outdoor unit.The other issue I had was bending the copper supply lines as they seemed not insulated as well as some of the other units I seen before as well as the one I helped install. This caused it to be able to kink easily so I had to be extremely careful and of course I needed to re-flare larger tube (suction line) and the tubing just seemed to be very thin so be carful and possibly get an in-expensive tubing bender.The last issue is trying to program the remote on my phone. Although the website was offering help it didn’t seem to be as upfront and easy as most other remotes have been for me in the past. I must say the weather got extremely cold earlier then expected so when it warms up I will address this. It just makes me nervous if something were to happen to my current remote are they available?Function: Unit seems to be working well on the heat cycle and I’ve been using it now for about 8 weeks. and the temperatures have been in the lower teens more often then not. One thing I’m not sure about is if the remote is the sensor for the temperature or not (I believe it is) and if so it doesn’t seem to be as accurate as a normal wall thermostat would would be. It would be nice to be able to hard wire a wall thermostat to it and use the remote for all the other functions. I also wish the remote had a back light without hitting a button as it’s hard to read and I’m always nervous I’m going to change a setting.The dual swing options are one of the main reasons for me purchasing this unit and I must say this is a great feature for me as I located this unit in my large very long kitchen with a sunroom off to the one side and the fan is actually aligned with my Livingroom entrance and blows enough air to keep that area warm as well.Summery: I’m happy with the unit and yes I would purchase another, the dual swing function is a great feature and a must for me moving forward with any other such purchase. The installation again was pretty straight forward for me and properly took more time only because I wanted to make sure I understood everything so that’s on me.I hope this review helps someone as I know when I was researching mini splits I spent many hours (estimate 60-80 hours) looking at reviews and installation videos, it’s just my way of doing things lol.
