Cooling perfection and great performance! Was hestitant to buy, but glad I did. I live in a 2 bedroom 900 sqft home. Cycled the a/c at 61 degrees for an entire day, then raised it to 68. My house has stayed consistantly cool since and hasn’t had any hiccups. If you have a small home or apartment avoid the hassel of spending exrtra money on 2 a/c’s or an extra fan and sectioning off parts of your home and buy the 8000 btu. While slightly larger it still fit in my 1911 built small window. It is noisy but as a loud as you expect a window a/c to be.

This is just a preliminary review since we have only had this up and running a few days. The actual brand of the unit is . We installed this in our families summer cottage which is only 720 sq ft, so this is a bit oversized for the space but I felt it would be better as the 12,000 BTU units would be maxed with their rating for up to 750 sq ft. We do use the house into late fall for hunting season, so we wanted more efficient and consistent heating along with AC for the summer. So, this does NOT have WiFi contrary to the description and title. Second, it is R32 refrigerant not r454b so it is not seer19 according to the chart they published in the description. But I cannot say how accurate that chart really is since other stuff is listed incorrectly. That all being said, it is a pretty nice unit overall and not overly heavy. It was pretty easy to install, although, like other reviews, the ac lines and power lines are only 10 feet so the inside unit and outside unit need to be pretty close. The remote is pretty basic and the instructions have no guidance on the symbols. I was able to find a general guide that shows that most symbols on these mini-splits are universal. It is pretty quiet overall except when in ââ¬Åturboââ?mode which makes the fan go faster. Still not super loud though. Outside unit is surprisingly quiet. For actual temperature control, it works quite well so far. You can set the temp on the remote and it also displays on the indoor unit. Currently, I have had it set on heat (cold snap here right now) and 72 degrees and my WiFi enabled thermostat is showing 72.3 degrees on the other side of the house. Watching my electric use, it is showing 0.2kwh being used. I will update this when we start using the AC if/when it ever warms up here. There are third party systems out there can be used to turn this into a martââ?WiFi enabled unit with remote app control. I just ordered one and will update on how that works when it arrives and I get it installed. Overall, it is nice and functional unit so far, even with the incorrect information about the refrigerant and lie about being WiFi enabled. Although, I will say the listed cost is too high for not having WiFi as pretty much every other one at this price point has WiFi and an app.

I received this 5000 BTU window air conditioner through the program and tested it in a small bedroom/office setting. This is a nice portable Air Conditioner with basic features.This is easy to set up, everything you need is included. It comes with directions that are clear and easy to follow. Can be set up and using in a matter of minutes! We love that it cools off our entire room quickly, and its pretty quiet too! Energy use is 1854.5 Kilowatt Hours Per Year which is very efficient. We love that it is a dehumidifier as well or you can just use it on fan mode! I like the fan mode because it helps move air around in our house! This is a great machine, and its about half the price of similar units that we had checked out. Perfect for a dorm room or upstairs bedroom that gets hot! I ordered this one for my office, its the perfect size! My favorite part is that you can control it with the remote control! Great a/c unit to have!Very pleased with the quality of this a/c unit! Will definitely order again!

Works great so far, only thing that I had an issue with is that the line set is only about 10 feet long limiting were you can install it , may have said how long they are in the advert but I didn’t see it. Other the length of the line set it was an easy install. Right now it’s been around 10 degrees Fahrenheit and it still makes good heat ,also doesn’t defrost as much as my older 23 seer mini split ( keeps making heat , instead of having to defrost ) newer !

I haven’t even turned on yet! The apparatus they sent to put in the window assumes you have a very wide window! So the plastic need cut to accommodate a smaller window ( standard US width). The hose that attaches to the window piece does not fit securely to the unit nor the window exhaust. The motor fan is plastic !!! It crap. Look substantially from the outside. And it 100 degrees today !

You should take out the part that says cooling and heating as it is only for cooling. Cannot return as was left out in the rain and the box fell apart.
