This unit came with 13 ft of copper line. made it right when I called. I have 2×6 exterior wall and it was difficult to get the copper line through the wall and bend it without kinking the line. other than that it works great I love the 115 volt system. I’m already saving 20% on my electrical bill. so far my bill went from $10 a day to $8 a day. it’s been averaging about 103 to 108 here in Arizona. I placed shade over the unit between two and five o’clock. It has been incredibly helpful to running and keeping the house cool very impressed we used to set our 3 ton at 80° and it was hot and and still air would get the best of us there is constantly moving and it feels like 72 to 74 in here even though my thermostat shows the walls and Furniture still running 78 to 80 my wife had been using a blanket in the middle of summer it’s rough only time will tell but so far I am incredibly happy with this unit I have a friend who had a vacuum pump so all I needed was the copper tubing housing and a bracket for exterior split air unit

Customers should know that the exhaust of air, through the hose, to the outside, creates a pressure deficit in the room containing the air conditioner. This pressure deficit draws warm air into the room through fissures such as those around doors and windows. If the room were hermetically sealed (except for the exhaust opening), the air conditioner would stop operating because there would be no air to replace the exhausted air and the exhaust would stop. Thus, there is some optimum amount of air leakage into the room but I don’t know what that optimum amount is. This air conditioner strongly blows cold air that I find is very good for cooling just one person. I just have to position myself at a good location in that stream. Outside the stream, it is less effective than a conventional air conditioner of equal wattage. But, unlike a conventional air conditioned, with the cooling function on, this air conditioned doesn’t lower relative humidity. I like that because it reduces itching from dry skin. This air conditioner has a setting for dehumidification but I have no use for that feature.

The smaller unit did not say it didn¡®t come with wifi however it does not. Also it does NOT even get cold on the highest setting. It is more like a big window fan that run your electric bill up for no reason.

This is a excellent mini split. The AC technician who came to hook this up said this unit is very similar to all the other units that he’s installed. I told him the price of $407 and he was quite surprised.The unit works great I use it in my bedroom where it’s over my bed it’s extremely quiet it almost sounds like a small floor fan that you would have on very low speed. I would definitely buy this item again. Another bonus for me is if they are warehoused and shipped out of Ontario, California which is within a couple hundred miles of where I live.12,000 BTU 21 SheerRemote and after you download the app you can control the mini split via your phone.

Great basic kit. It was easy to install, but the instructions were not well written. The controls and system are very basic but it heats, cools, dehumidifies and has a fan option. I installed this unit to replace my baseboard electric heater and window AC unit. It is way better cooling than my window unit both in speed and efficiency. The heat seems to work well, I live in southwest Washington state so it doesn’t get too cold here so I am not sure how well this would work in actual cold climates as there is no backup resistive heating element.It is nice and quiet with good air flow for a small room. The remote is super basic but has all the essential functions and works well.While there are lots of more feature rich options, I really like that this unit does not have an app or any smart feature. This makes it very easy to get working after installation. The Value for the money Is very high, especially if you are capable of doing the installation yourself.There are a few specialized tools needed to get this unit working such as a vacuum pump and vacuum gauge setup. For my home I needed a hole saw (I used a 2.25in) to run the lines outside and impact driver made mounting screws easier to install inside and out. If you have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge this should not be a hard job.This unit did not include an outdoor mounting bracket so If you don’t already have one or a pad to put the compressor on make sure to get one.

Insanely loud. had to ghetto rig it so it wouldnt make noise. Where the air filter is make contact with some wire/temperature gauge. I bought a used one in (very good) quality so maybe thats why. Dont go cheap like I did. Saved me only $20 just to have to deal with some complications including it being dirty. Will update on how long it lasts. Also the wifi doesnt work without resetting your router to accept 2.4g. Mine is 5g and I assume a lot of people’s are.

First off this thing is super loud! Why does an ac need two blowers? There’s the main squirrel cage blower which they all have , but this one has a computer type fan that is very loud. It’s in the photos for the unit it self. Makes no since why it needs another fanð¤·ð¤·. Cools good though.

I bought this because I have a small cottage bakery and needed a wifi ac unit that I could monitor the temperature and make adjustments from an app. I got a thermostat that gives me alerts on the temperature, but now need an ac unit that can help. This is not a solution to my problem. This ac unit is supposed to pick up on the smart app that the company recommended. Unfortunately it will not. When I contacted the company for support, they said that I must have ordered the NON-wifi unit. I explained that I did purchase the one that is wifi. Then they told me that it might not work with the app that they said to use and that I would have to search for another app that might work with it. All of the sudden, I get an email from the company stating that my “ticket” was closed and that it was resolved. Then they asked me to give a rating on how they resolved my problem. This was absolutely a waste of money. Do not buy this AC unit.

I didn’t know if this Portable Evaporative Air Cooler Fan,Swamp Cooler for Bedroom Office,Touch & Remote Control,1.84 Gal Water Tank,3-Speed Cooling Fan, 3-Side Cooling Pads, Auto Swing Louvers,Portable Carry Handle,White would work, but with my family being very reluctant to turn on the central a/c even when it gets very warm out in order to keep the electricity bill down, I had to try something.I’d heard swamp coolers don’t work well if it’s humid, which is what we’ve been experiencing here in Southern California, but I figured I’d give it a try.In order to prep to use this machine and give it the best chance of cooling down my house, I had to fill and freeze 5 bottles of water. The bottles are included and have crystals in them that expand into gel chunks to hold the water. I wasn’t paying attention and managed to spill some of the crystals out of the first container I opened, so it doesn’t have as much gel stuff in it as the others. I had to wait for the bottles to fully freeze (I think the instructions said at least 6 hours, so get started early!). Once that was done, I filled the water reservoir and then dropped the frozen bottles inside (the instructions were a little unclear about where to put them (“upper water tank” is a weird way to say “in the water reservoir” when there doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the upper area to hold these).Then I turned on the machine. It took a little bit to get the air cool, but while I waited, I played with the controls. There are actual louvers inside the machine that oscillate, which is a nice touch. The outside ones are manually controlled, so you can point the airflow up or down while the machine can blow the air from side to side if you want. Once the air got cool, I had about an hour of “air conditioning” (and at one point, I almost felt chilly) before the water got too warm and it started making the room warm and muggy. Since I’d have to freeze the ice bottles for another 6 hours, I think maybe just using ice might be easier to keep the chill going.It hasn’t leaked at all, which is great. The top needs to be emptied occasionally because it collects water, but this is a surprisingly effective air cooler for something that’s not running on as much power as a full a/c unit. It’s not exactly making my large room cold, but it’s definitely taking several degrees off the temps in here and at a fraction of the cost of a standalone air conditioner.

1. The unit came opened, and looks like someone had added straps to keep the box closed….2. The unit is nice, a bit small. I really like the digital temperature display on the front of the device.3. The “window slider kit” is TRASH. Many things wrong with it. First, you have to attach the plastic hose to both ends – the end that connects to the unit and the end that connects to the window slider part. It is brutal trying to do this. The instructions offer no help except “attach” the pieces. It took me and my daughters about 20 minutes of pulling, turning, crying, slamming, and throwing things to finally wedge the hose ends into the two ends. What a stupid design. It popped out a few times, with more expletives, crying, and slamming things.4. The “window slider kit” is also far too narrow to fit a window. See photos. The sliding plastic panels are very narrow, so when you try to insert it into the window, the bulk slider adapter doesn’t allow the window to close over the panels. It left about an inch gap! That’s TERRIBLE design. They give you a strip of weak foam and a strip of narrow foam with adhesive, but that’s poor protection from the heat and bugs are are sure to make their way through that gap.5. The unit is loud. When the room temperature is cool enough and the unit stops cooling, it stops with a ‘thud” and then the whining fan keeps going. Not very pleasant for a bedroom.I am disabled and it’s very difficult to go through the hoops and hurdles of repacking an appliance and returning it. I stuffed the window gap with rags and used duct tape and the foam strip tape to try to seal it, and will just have to suffer through the noise. I don’t recommend this unit. I have had a number of others, and this has been by far the worst I’ve purchased.

The wifi function on this thing is an absolute joke. Don’t buy it for its wifi capabilities. It’s has none. I tried for an hour last night to get this thing to work with their app. It won’t connect at all. And I’m pretty Tec. Savvy. Basically it’s just has a wifi sticker, a blue light and an app that doesn’t work.

It’s a good product and works well. Be aware that the window fitting is designed a sliding window and is assumed that the two metal pieces be installed vertically along with its tube for getting rid of hot air. I adjusted it for horizonal installation in standard window by using just one piece and stuffing some rags on either side. Once that was done, the unit worked very well. It is in a bedroom and can easily be moved to another room with very little effort.

This 8000 BTU air conditioner cools very well but it is LOUD! VERY LOUD! Do not buy this for your bedroom if you don’t sleep like a rock because it will wake you up when the compressor kicks on.

I woke up and it was spraying water everywhere so I wheeled it to the bathroom to “drain it” and not a lot of water came out but it is spitting water everywhere out the top where the air comes out! I have no idea what is wrong with it but I definitely don’t want my carpet wet!

Not sure what they meant by quiet comfort cool… This thing is LOUD, even on the lowest fan setting. The compressor is also making a grinding sound during cooling. Maybe my unit is defective. Installation is straightforward though. It get’s the job done for the money, but don’t expect to sleep soundly.

Air conditioner arrived with an internal bracket holding the fan in place. Didn’t know until completely installed and the fan would not engage. When trying to contact manufacturer I was told if you bought it on contact them. How is responsible for an internal issue?? Very disappointing! Returned for full refund.

First, the good stuff. The AC works well. Has all the features I wanted and an eco mode. I needed a small unit for my bedroom window but I also wanted the smart features. Now, the bad stuff. The wifi instructions are WRONG. For that, you get 1 star. Why? Because of the hours, I spent figuring this out. Well, they leave out a step, which makes it impossible to pair. After many hours of banging my head on the wall, I managed to get it paired. But not before I almost let it fall out of my window on purpose. So let me save you from the frustration. The instructions indicate that you should press the display button on your remote 6 times. What they left out was that you then need to press the “MODE” button on the AC panel right after. It may take a couple of times, but it will work. You will see a “CF” popup and then disappear, but it is in CF pairing mode. Go to your app, and add it, and it will find it and set it up. You’re welcome. (*, you should comp this AC unit to stop your support email and phone from blowing up.)

This 100% is not compatible with Assistant. The instructions ask you to download an app called SmartLife-SmartHome which will randomly reset its data so if you don’t save your QR code from the original instructions, you won’t be able to use the app whenever it arbitrarily decides to lose your data. Very poorly designed – the rails on the unit, where it fits into the window, are almost at the very front of the unit. They’re about 3 inches in, and the unit is about a foot and a half in depth. As a result, unit is way too back-heavy. It’s extremely heavy to begin with, which means it puts tremendous weight and strain on the window when it’s installed. It will damage your window sill / could easily fall out of the window. You’d think it would be extremely obvious that the units center of gravity should be almost in the middle of the unit, given how heavy it is – with perhaps just a slight backward tilt to ensure water drains properly. But no, apparently the engineers who built this thing could not figure that out. As a result, this was just a giant waste of money, will never buy from this company again. On top of that, the top rail is not part of the unit, you actually have to screw it on yourself. This is something the company should have done for us, but apparently they are too cheap to screw a rail onto an AC unit so they have us do it. What’s worse is it uses some environmentally friendly coolant. Well that would be great, except for the fact that the coolant is much more explosive than normal coolant. Terrible job.
