This air conditioner does an impressive job cooling our space. We use it in a 22 x 16 ft upstairs room that has no insulation, and it keeps the room comfortably cold even during hot weather. Once it’s running, the cooling performance is excellent and has exceeded my expectations.The main drawbacks are the installation materials and instructions. Unlike some other portable AC units I’ve purchased, this one did not include any window sealing materials, so we had to buy those separately. It would have been nice to have everything needed for installation included in the box.I like having a remote control. The swing feature is nice to spread cool air throughout the room rather than blasting cold in one direction. It is not very noisy…just a light hum and the sound of air.The directions also could have been clearer and more detailed. We were able to get it set up, but a few additional diagrams and step-by-step explanations would have made the process much easier.Despite those issues, the unit cools very well and performs exactly as needed. If you’re willing to spend a little extra time on setup, it’s a solid choice for the price.

Works great for 1 small room. Had this up stairs in a townhouse apartment to help cool it off. Easy to install the window vent. Only have used it for the AC part.

I give this a 4 only because it needs to be vented to drain. So it’s up on a chair with a hose out my window. I had to go buy a longer hose at homedepot. Its very cold and works well but the water part is a no for me because you can’t leave it on if you don’t have it draining and your not home

This is not worth the moneyââ?poorly constructed exhaust system !! After hiring an HVAC GUY I had to get it down the steps to return it and full refund was not given !!!! Go to Lowes of so you can see what you getting and all parts.

It has been a month since I received and started using in my office. It works great. Easy to setup. Only 4 stars because it is loud in the small area. My office gets full sun in the afternoon and gets really hot with the temps in the 90’s outside. This air conditioner keep my space about 75 to 80 during the heat of the day. Have only needed to clean the filters and no need to empty the water. I would recommend.

The AC unit looks nice but the blue tape that is on the sides left horrible blue tape residue all over and it’s very hard to get off!

It’s garbage. I have a small 10×15 bedroom. I have this thing on tbe coldest temp & the highest setting. It’s currently 80 degrees outside & 86 degrees in my bedroom. The air coming out of it is warm.

Works great but a very stupid design. They include a two foot plastic tubing as a drain pipe which limits how far you can place the ac unit to a window or sliding glass door. To add insult to injury, the drain pipe connection is not on the same side as the exhaust hose connection (on the back of unit) but on the side at the bottom of the unit. You need to put something very shallow for the condensate to drain into. The instructions don’t tell you where to connect the tubing. Hard to find as it is a small black plug.

I will be updating this review. The air conditioner itself is good, I’ve used it for an hour or so and it cooled down the room well. I haven’t tried the dehumidifier yet. The instructions were horrible and the window slider parts are a joke. I can’t get it to stay in the window to save my life and it’s flimsy. You may need to invest in a new window slider kit if buying this, would’ve been 5 stars otherwise.

I am also very impressed by the portable AC! It cools better than my larger one. The only thing that I don¡®t like is the window vent. Maybe my window is longer than the typical window but there is like a two inch gap. Although even with the gap the AC keeps the room cold so I just left it alone.

I used a digital thermometer and the outlet air was in the high 30 degs F. Unit draws about 800 watts running. I am using it in a small camper. Keeps it nice and cold if camper is in the shade . 92 degrees F outside 72 inside. At night we had to turn it off or freeze. Nice small size, dimensions are right on.
