This is a standard 5000 BTU window air conditioner. It has delivered quiet reliable cooling without constant power surges. My room is a roughly 12×8 And this AC units does an amazing job at keeping the room cool and comfortable. , i would highly recommend this unit for medium?sized bedrooms, living rooms, apartments, and home offices.

This unit works well enough. But what you need to know is there are other units that are EXACTLY the same, down to the instruction manual, and cost $100 or more less. Literally the only difference is the logo on the front. Even with the coupon, the others are significantly less expensive. Get one of those, save your money.

Don’t buy this one. We have only had ours for a couple of months, we wanted to return this but couldn’t find a box strong enough to handle unit. We had to destroy original box because we had to cut box apart to remove from shipping box. Very, very, very loud and it was sent with two different remotes and neither remotes works. Garbage. Terrible purchase on our part.

Ship time was longer than expected. Definitely not overnight or two days.Takes a lot of work dealing with the water it produces.VERY loud. For this reason I would not recommend.When you move it, be sure to look at the place where the hose attaches to the AC. It can slide, and then there will be hot air in the room.The shutter closes randomly.The only way to change the direction of the air is by pushing the unitaround.It isn’t more powerful than a window unit, and is louder and much less practical.

Don¡¯t buy used it twice and now it won¡¯t cool the compressor starts then kicks out then won¡¯t kick back in tried it after sometime to see if it would work but it won¡¯t. Too late to return so I might just have to use it as a dehumidifier or a fan. Not happy since it is hot now when I really need it.
