The packaging is very minimal, I had 2 good dents in mine. But my biggest problem with it is that the fan won’t stay on. I can’t sleep well with that loud off and on rumble. While it’s just running it’s quiet but when it stops or starts back up it makes a loud rumble. It does a good job of cooling but the fan going off and on is probably going to get me to send it back. The dents just add to that.

This little 5000 BTU window AC actually impressed me for a small unit. I wasn’t expecting it to cool as effectively as it does, but for smaller rooms it works very well and starts pushing cold air fairly quickly after turning it on.I like that the design is straightforward and simple to use. Sometimes all the digital controls and smart features are unnecessary, so the mechanical knobs are honestly refreshing and easy to operate. You can quickly adjust the temperature and fan settings without dealing with apps or complicated menus.The size is also a major advantage. It’s compact enough for bedrooms, offices, smaller apartments, guest rooms, or even temporary cooling situations. I actually found the sound fairly consistent and easy to sleep with once running.One important thing buyers should know is that this is really intended for smaller spaces. If you try cooling a large open room or multiple connected rooms, it will struggle. Their is no neutral wire so 12 2 wire and a 15 amp breaker is all you need for the 220 version. This thing in one month saved me just over a hundred on my electric bill. Going from an old 8 seer unit in a small three bedroom house. Bought two of them one for each end and haven’t had any problems. Installed AUG 2025 will update if they go out.

This unit arrived in two shipments, and that’s pretty expected with these, but the tracking wasn’t aware of the second one, which was a little alarming. I’m going out of my way to write a review because there currently aren’t any others. I will start out with the good. In all fairness, this looks like a well made product that you can have every expectation that, if it arrives intact, and is installed correctly, will work as intended. However, I ordered the listing that says”Easy DIY Installation, All Accessories Included: Set up with confidence using the included pre-charged line set, drain hose, remote control, and step-by-step installation guide. “That was mostly true except one very important thing which was my whole reason for ordering. The line set included was the standard flared copper tubing. It wasn’t pre-evacuated or charged with refrigerant. I needed air conditioning and didn’t have time to order a different model so I hooked everything up and went through the time consuming process of drawing a vacuum, and making sure it held and everything else. The install was fairly standard. However, the real problem came when I opened the valves on the condenser to release the refrigerant. There apparently wasn’t any to speak of. I got a feeble little puff but not the expected sound of the lines filling. I knew that was probably a bad sign, but I continued on. When I powered it on, I quickly got the E3 low refrigerant error and powered it off.The outside unit arrived looking like it had been through a war zone and I suspect that it was damaged in shipping in such a way that the refrigerant all escaped in transit, or maybe it wasn’t properly charged at the factory. Either way, I wasn’t going to spend hundreds more getting someone out to charge it only to find out it couldn’t hold vacuum. I suspect that if I had been a little more lucky, I would have a nice cold bedroom right now, but advertising that this has pre-charged lines when they’re shipping what I received is unacceptable. I don’t think the state of the outside unit is their fault, but that misleading information about the pre-charged line set cost me well over $100 buying a vacuum pump and other equipment that I will never have a use for in the future.When I started to uninstall it to return it, I was able to confirm that there wasn’t anything in those lines except for some oil from the condenser.

Does exactly what it supposed to do. Beats the window A/C units. Hoping this will cut our electricity bill down as well. Those older units burn threw your electricity every day, being on disability we just can’t afford the excess expense.

This works well and was easy to setup. I’m using it to cool a 200sq ft work shed with an outside temp in the high 90s. I had it running in 5 minutes after opening the box. It is very straight forward to use. My only complaint in the window baffle is too long to use in my 2 foot wide windows.
