I bought a brand new air conditioner, it arrived smelling like it came from a smoker’s house. It had a very loud grinding sound and when the compressor kicked on it vibrated the whole entire house. The one good thing is that it did blow out really cold air cooled off my room 10 degrees in less than 30 minutes however the smell the noises and the vibration were unbearable.

Unfortunately 0 starts STILL isn’t an option so: The worst air conditioning unit I’ve ever purchased. A huge waste of money. It fills with water in a few hours if use and shuts itself off! Now it’s been a few months later and keeps my bedroom a nice balmy 80 degrees at the coldest while it’s set at 59. DONT BUY

We used to run central AC just to keep our bedroom cool at night. Huge waste. This 14,000 BTU unit changed that. Now we only cool the room we’re in. My electricity bill went down last month. Plus it’s quiet enough that we actually sleep better. If you’re tired of paying to freeze your whole house, grab one.

I was debating between a regular portable AC and this dualose model with heating. The price difference wasn’t huge, and I figured why only solve half my problem? Summer is handled, and on chilly evenings I just switch to heat mode instead of pulling out a separate heater. The air never feels drafty, and the temperature stays exactly where I set it. For my apartment, this was absolutely the right call.

Picked this up for a room that doesn’t stay cool in the spring/summer, and it made a noticeable difference pretty quickly. It’s not the same as central air, but it brings the temp down enough that the room is actually comfortable again.Setup was easier than I expected. Hooked up the window kit, ran the hose, and it was up and running without much effort. Being on wheels helps since you can move it around if needed. It’s a little noisy, but about what you’d expect from a portable unit, and sleep mode helps at night.One thing I didn’t really think about at first but makes a big difference. You want to seal the window kit up tight. I used some weather stripping and tape so there’s no gaps or light coming through. After that, I wrapped the hose with some aluminum foil to help keep the heat from bleeding back into the room, and it definitely helped. Putting a fan nearby to move the air around helps too so it doesn’t have to work as hard.It’s obviously not as efficient as a window or sleeve unit, but sometimes you just don’t have the setup for those, and this is the next best thing.The extra modes are nice too. I’ve used the fan and dehumidifier when it wasn’t hot enough for full AC. If you’ve got a hot room or no central air, this does the job without much hassle. It’s a good value, considering that being miserable for half the year is worth a lot to avoid. It’s a good machine.

What an easy and fast way to get ac in any room. The can handle smaller rooms and has a remote. It is relatively quiet when running. Comes with everything you need and can chill a room fairly quickly. The intake is easy to keep clean and the entire unit is on wheels and not heavy so portability is simple and easy. Great looking and performing ac unit.
