If you need extra cooling in a room, this is the way to go. I am so disappointed it wouldn’t work for me because I have Anderson windows. I highly recommend this item if you have windows that raise up and down. My friend bought one for our church kitchen and I loved it!

This AC unit is nice it’s compact not too terribly loud. It was easy to assemble. However it would not cool down an 11×17 area. I did everything to make this work. I put up room darkners, I put tent up on the windows. I only had the temperature set on 77 and it steady ran in the 80s for hours. This was in the morning and evening.

I got this for a small office instead of a “window shaker” hoping it would be quieter. Not even close, it is super loud. Had I not thrown the box away I’d be sending it back. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it does cool well if you can stand the noise.
