Excellent mini-split. I added a room to my house, and buying a higher-capacity A/C system would have been extremely expensive, so I decided to go with this mini-split. It is super quiet, the air gets extremely cold, and the heating works great as well. Update after several weeks of use: still running strong. For anyone installing this themselves, budget for a vacuum pump and manifold gauges – it makes the whole process much smoother. The outdoor unit is built like a tank and you can barely hear it running from inside the house. Take your time on the line set connections and you will not have any issues.

This was supposed to be a 110v wall plug in unit. It was not. Had to be modified and pulls 30+ amps. Works great! Install was a breeze for the mechanically inclined individual. Will need a pump and gauges. These can be bought here on for $70-$90. This unit is silent and the exterior unit is heavy duty and very silent as well. Youâll be happy. Just donât take short cuts on the install.

We have had several issues with this product. It leaked causing mold on wall, carpet wet. Then condensation issues. When it froze here it did not keep a 16ââ?x 34ââ?well insulated room warm. Had to turn on other heat. Company just wants pictures but no solution!

Unfortunately this arrived damaged, as pictured. I’ve installed it and it is working okay, but I am concerned that the cracks will cause more damage and compromise structural integrity over time, leading to noisy rattling or worse. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to replace or remedy this situation and I will revise my review accordingly to how the problem is handled.

Great quality, and very easy installation. Just use a vacuum pump on the lines before opening up the lines to charge it. Everything went smooth, and will buy this again in the near future. Will update in the future of any issues

Works great but does not sit on bracket close to wall at the top. The bracket is also not centered with the unit. Nor is it 16ââ?wide to hit any studs in the wallââ?So make sure you install more to the right than centered. Going to have to figure out how to fix this bracket issue so it drains properly. With it leaning forward it isn¡®t draining as it should

I received this air conditioner quickly and in great condition. Installation was straightforward, and since it’s 110 volts, no special electrical work was needed. The cooling is excellent, and the added heating feature is a huge plus! It has a responsive remote, and I was even able to pair it with my Echo, perfect for voice control.

Unit works great, I bought this for my bedroom and the only complaint I have is the outdoor unit is mounted to the outside wall right behind my headboard and as the unit ramps up and down it wakes me up a lot. I will probably ground mount it and that will solve my only problem with the unit. The remote display icons on the top of the screen are hard for my old eyes to make them out.

I have been running this for about 4 months now and it has been flawless. If you are willing to educate yourself with some installation videos and are at all handy, you should be able to install this yourself. You will need a vacuum pump, but everything else is included. Does a great job of heating and a really great job of cooling.

Mostly good so far. Been running in 10-30F temps and it is putting out heat but not much when in that lower range – which is a little surprising because this unit is supposed to work down to -13F and the space is fully insulated as well. Outdoor unit is a bit noisy and vibrating compared to another mini split Ie installed mounted on the exterior wall. App isn¡®t great. Thought I be able to add to Tuya but apparently it needs to go through another proprietary app which is a little lacking. The remote is a bit of a joke as you can only tell mode, fan speed, and temp so you really need the app to figure out if things like Health or Clean modes are running or not. Lineset insulation was much cheaper quality that expected. Hope the lack of heat output in low temps isn¡®t due to that.

The outside unit was damaged. It appears to have been packaged and shipped that way since there was no damage to the box. It doesn¡®t interfere with the functionality of it, it works great! However, I am disappointed in for sending a damaged unit. My husband installed it and then called a to dry the lines and connect them. Quiet and cold!!!

I have a Mr. Cool which I installed 5 years ago, but they are so expensive now. Decided to go with a more affordable option. Seems decent quality, no leaks so far. Super cooled. Like that it uses R32, instead of R410. Comes with a short powercord which is nice. install videos for install. Seems to be more like a 12000 btu unit, it says 9000, it just cools so much better then my 10000 btu window unit.

It works. Installation was fairly easy. It’s very quiet when running. I did have to re-flare some of the fittings and it would be nice if the line sets were a bit thicker copper, but all in all, it’s a great unit.

This is not a very powerful unit. Feels extraordinarily weak for a 12000BTU unit. Heating my 500 sqft room takes a long time. I know this is not optimized for heating but it is pretty weak I have to say. Cooling seems to be similarly weak. I have not had a chance to put it through its paces on a hot summers day yet, but I imagine it will not be very cold. The app that is comes with is not very good called “AC Freedom” Not very useful and when used with Home it does not even allow temperature control, only on/off. Fortunately I could find a bridge application that allows me to control it from Home app which is a game changer. Otherwise this would be pretty useless unit to me. I have to say it was cheap but you get what you pay for. I may uninstall this unit and put it in my shed at some point. I am not terribly impressed with it.

Overall I’m pleased with my purchase and feel I got exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. The good: Heats and cools quite well. Since it’s winter the heat has been used the most, but since I’m in the South, so has the a/c. Both work as expected and keep the area at exactly the temp it’s set to. I installed 6 different brand/size units this year. This came with one of the most complete install parts kits and I appreciated that. The slightly bad: The inside unit makes noises during normal operation. They’re not “loud”. Louder than me typing on the keyboard, more like “drumming my fingertips on a hard surface” level. Pops, hisses, crinkly noises. It’s in my office and about 4 feet from my head, so I notice. I have other units, but my head isn’t close to them so I never hear them doing anything like this. Maybe the other ones do, but I’m not going to camp out under them and find out.

Might work but instructions state after installation have the lines vacuumed and checked by an ac . All that i called will not touch a until installed by someone else. So beware. Finally located someone to vacuum the lines. Until does not heat up the area very well. Luke warm air. Use a different company.

Self install and works wonderfully. Recent temps at -4 f and maintained 75 no issues. If you are going to self install, Make sure to vacuum the system and adjust refrigerant pressure.

My first mini split. Picked it up on sale for Black Friday along with a line vacuum kit. Having researched them ahead of time I was confident in my ability to self-install. Self-installing alone took me about 3 hours. For my situation, no wall hole could be done so both lines and power feed through a window insert much like a portable air conditioner. Power goes to an indoor dedicated 20 amp outlet. System operates almost silent both indoor and out. My 12k unit uses about 1200 watts when it is below freezing (currently below 20 degrees and doing great). Power usage is considerably lower above freezing. It seems very efficient. I look forward to using it during summer to replace the need for my large window unit. Will consider adding a second one in the future.

I ordered this minisplit based on several factors. Had a high SEER rating, affordability and the fact that it had WIFI/APP capabilities. We have a vacation home that we need to be able to use the thermostat settings via the APP. This was the number one thing I needed when purchasing. The unit arrived, paid to have it installed and spent a couple hours researching how to connect it to the WIFI. After searching and googling it turns out that I was sent the one that does not have that option even though I ordered and paid for these features. The instructions have a QR code to download an app though it does say not all units have this option. Mine was supposed to. I have read on that this has happened to other people as well. At this point the unit does nothing for us as that was the one thing we needed. We will now need to uninstall and order another that does have the WIFI. At the end of the day we are now out of pocket the unit as well as the install.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars on this. I ordered 3 of them for my kids rooms and let me just say… They are amazing. Great temperature control, easy to use remote, cools and heats quickly. My kids love them and so do I. I will be purchasing another one for another room in my house. They save on the electric bill as well, we have completely switched over to these mini splits in the house and we love it!

Bought two of these 12k BTU 120V minis. I got them on a flash sale of $425 each. These units as long as you know what you are doing work much better than anticipated. It was blowing 130 F air when it was 50F outside. Excellent performance. Most of the time they are sipping power and keeping my home comfortable. I did the install myself but took my time. Don¡®t rush vacuuming and pressure testing the lines. Make sure the shrader valve is pressed down before tightening otherwise you will only be vacuuming your manifold lines. Also use Nylog blue in the flare face and fittings. This saves me over $10k in installing a new boiler. One of the best investments I have made. Will update in performance over time. Heat pumps are the future.

This 12,000 BTU 22 seer 115v is a wonderful unit to have. It can be up and running in 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the person installing your unit. The cost is very good and you can’t even hear it running unless you have it on turbo. It cools and heats wonderful no problems so far. The remote is pretty self explanatory. It seems to be a very durable unit. I have purchased 2 of these. So far it’s saving money on the electric bill. It really hasn’t gotten that cold out yet but so far it’s keeping me and my family warm and when it’s hot outside it does a great job cooling. I would highly recommend these units.

I bought it used like new. I was worried it wouldn’t be precharged, it was. Cosmeticly its great has remote heat pump inside unit and copper lines. Was missing the main power wire but that was it. Got it hooked up and been using for a few weeks now to cool our kitchen and dining room and it will freeze us out with the stove going(12ftx30ft area).

I purchased this mini split to replace a 15 year unit that had quit cooling. This unit was about a third of the cost of the original unit. I also purchased a vacuum pump so that I could attempt to install this unit without having to pay the labor costs which would have been more than the cost of the pump. I am pleased to say that the install went great and the unit is whisper quiet and ice cold. This unit with its SEER rating are off the charts inexpensive compared to alternatives. The unit arrived well packaged and of good quality. I can¡®t speak of longevity but am both pleased and impressed thus far with absolutely no negative experience with this purchase.

This is a good product and a good value for the price. It works well. The description is misleading, thoughââ?it states ââ¬Åpre-charged line setsââ?ââ¬ÅEasy DIYââ? The line sets are NOT pre charged. The manual recommends professional installation. A HVAC vacuum and line adapter is required to evacuate the system. Also, it states the line sets are 15ââ?long. Perhaps this includes the length of tube inside the head unit, but the coiled line sets rolled out to approximately 13ââ?on mine. I am happy with the purchase, as I expected the claim of pre-charged lines to be an error (I think has exclusive corner on that market) and line length was not an issue for my install. I would recommend this mini split as long as the buyer is aware of what is needed to install it.
