I wasn¡®t expecting much from this unit. I just needed my basement space to be cooler than a hot box, but I am pleasantly surprised! It does a great job cooling off at least 350 sf. The vent tube is easy to attach to its casing, and fit into a small window even. It has a shut off timer and two speeds. The vents can be set to spin to spread air around. You will want to place a bucket or a small trash can under the drain hose to catch any water runoff. I haven¡®t seen any leakage other than the water coming out the hose. The unit functions better than I hoped.

what you have here is a 250$ box fan. except the unit itself becomes extremely hot and eventually raises the temperature of your room. I bought it for my trailer… this is an 8ft by 8ft room, you could not ask this unit to cool a smaller room. with the thermostat on the unit set to 60/66/72 -whatever- it just blows room temperature air, and again because the unit itself gets hot it eventually it ends up adding more heat to your room. last night at twilight the outside temperature was mid 70’s and after baking in the sun all day my 8×8 ft room was 86 degrees. I set the unit to 66 degrees and turned it on- remember its not fighting the outside heat, after an hour my room was down to 83 degrees, for another hour it struggled and bounced from 83 to 84 to 83 and at that time the outside temperature was just below 70. I live in cedar city utah where the days can get hot but the nights are very nice and cool. I have this unit properly installed and ventalited- its not complicated to set up… its just a POS! … I opened the windows and set my box fan back up and was instantly more comfortable. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Delivered on June 17th, abruptly dead on July 17th. did make it right, but that does not help with an 80 degree room. Buyer beware.

Good product very cool but unfortunately I had to Start A Return because it wasn’t the AC I wanted But overall it’s a good Air conditioning Unit

Pretty decent ac. I had an old 800 btu ac and it did nothing for my apartment but this ac does a pretty good job of keeping my place cool. I have a metal door in the back that makes a sauna out of my kitchen in the afternoon and this helps prevent that.

Hose and attachment defect had to buy another hose to fit. Noisy and take awhile to cool off apartment I have less 550 square feet.
