This is the best portable air conditioner ever. I¡¯m originally from Texas and boy does it get hot there!!!!! We always had our central a/c unit on even in the winter months as it doesn¡¯t get cold in the south. Anyway, after moving to Washington to enjoy the cool climate, WA has been having some heat waves, my hubby and I suffered through it these last few years, being from TX and all, we were used to over 100 degree weather year round. Well, we bought this air conditioner and it is the best investment ever!!!! It cools our whole apartment living, kitchen, and dining room. We set the temperature at 66 degrees and we needed a light blanket. But, I¡¯d rather be cold than hot. We will definitely be using it this summer in Washington state. Even 70¡¯s temp is too hot for us.

I’m getting too old to put air conditioners in the window so I decided to get the portable one. I set it at 70 and it stays there. I love that I can set it to start an hour before I get home. It said that I didn’t need a drain hose but I bought one just in case. They send you a drain hose with the air conditioner.

This unit has problem with controlling the level of water. It fills up water quickly but shut off when it is too full so, water spills easily.Some buttons stopped working after some uses.
