Okay this is an update for my review. All right it’s currently 90¡ã outside. This unit is really really good for humidity and air conditioning in a 700 ft apartment. But the manual doesn’t express exactly how it’s supposed to do this so I’m going to show you exactly what you’re supposed to do when you buy one of these units. First of all buy aluminum tape so you can insulate your window to prevent hot air from getting in or out. Trust me it’ll do a good job secondly by tin foil or a tube that is more compatible that connects to the back of the unit so you can vent the hot air out easier for the cheaper method just buy a couple wraps of tin foil and wrap the tube in it this will insulate the tube and keep the hot air from leaving the tube into your house. Because the tube that comes with this unit is not insulated. You think with paying for something that’s almost $500 it would have an insulated tube. But I got grass on top of this go to Walmart or whatever store you have and buy a garden hose connector The top part on the back of the unit that drains water attach the garden hose connector to that or use the water line that comes with the unit I would go with the garden hose route because you can securely fasten it to the unit so leaking won’t happen. And the reason why is when you have high humidity and the unit is going, the unit is going to pull that humidity into the unit and vent it out of the house The humidity can cause the compressor to work harder and actually reduce performance over time having the drainage tube in while the AC is on actually causes the AC to run better I’ve gotten about three times the level of performance I originally had without the tube in, I’m on a second floor apartment it’s 90¡ã outside My apartment was so hot it was overwhelming, as soon as I attach the tube, the unit was able to drain water from itself immediately while the AC was on this actually removed stress off the compressor and allowed it to function better, this is not in the manual, you can get triple the performance by doing this. And the best part it’s literally howdy and it’s supposed to function, I wish they would have told me this before I wasted my time, also you’ll get better how are utilization on the unit in general, because the compressor doesn’t have to work as hard to cool the room, and all the excess heat that usually gets stuck inside the unit invent it out can now leave through the vent and the water this allows the air conditioner to cool itself much faster because of this the air in my apartment has gotten very cold. Very quickly, also because I’ve seen people do this do not under any circumstances plug this unit into a power strip unless the power strip has the voltage necessary and is literally designed for a unit like this, 100% of the time you are to plug these units into the actual wall outlet. If you do not plug it into the wall outlet you could easily start a fire causing an overload because the unit kicks on or kicks off it adjusts its performance very quickly and pulls power very quickly, most power strips cannot keep up with this, and can cause an overload causing you to trip a breaker or cause an electrical fire, case in point I plugged it in to a power strip it caused my outlet to become burning hot, after disconnecting it from the power strip and plugging it into the wall outlet everything immediately cooled off in the wall, I could have easily caused an electrical fire if I didn’t notice it soon enough, so remember this, also I’m leaving it at three stars not because it’s a terrible AC cooler it’s because the tube that connects to the window should be insulated and it’s not there should be tape or something in it like aluminum tape to seal the window but there’s not, there should be a window locker so nobody can open your window while it’s in but there’s not especially for the price and they should have put in the instruction manual that if you attach the drainage tube or a hose the back it will drastically improve performance on the unit saving you money and extending the life of your AC unit but they didn’t, so because of all this it’s going to stay at 3:00 but it’s not a three because it’s a terrible unit it’s a three because the people selling this are cheap bastards, let’s hope they include these things and these warnings in their manuals. In these improvements.

Currently this is a one star product review. I have installed it and no issues… it cools and heats using the remote….not too sure I still understand how to use its auto function though, but that is no biggy. It is a one star as of now because the the wifi is not working and in the appendix number one states there should be a wifi lite on. Mine is not on and have still tried to do the connection multiple times. I called customer service who gave me phone number and email for support…I called the number and had to leave a message. I have emailed them also with the same issue. Today is 6/19. I¡¯ll keep this review up to date based on their response. Thank you.Update today 6/23. At 6 am central time I received an email response basically telling me to do everything that the manual already says to do, but they told me to hold the button down for eight seconds to reset Wi-Fi. The manual says to push the button eight times so I¡¯ve done both and currently no Wi-Fi connection yet. They have also asked to send pictures of the screenshots of the front of the air conditioner and the phone display the area code which I have resent that email this morning¡.. the email also stated that someone will reach out to reach out to my phone number, so standby and stay tuned. Thank you.Hi all, today is July 4th and all is wonderful. The wifi connection issue has nothing to do with the product. Turns out that the router was configured to only accept connections from certain MAC’s. We changed out the router and perfect connection!!. These units are going into a microgrid container and as stated before they are working perfectly and the installation had no issues and now we can remote monitor. In terms of the customer service. We all get anxious when we can’t get immediate answers but customer service did indeed reply and trust me worked with me to stay on top of getting this resolved without me having to chase. They also answered some other technical questions that we asked since we were trying to do additional things with the control…they perfectly understood the question and answered the questions directly.So personal shout out to Fiona.Will be buying at least three more of these units.

Seems to work as designed. It¡¯s louder than my other stand alone AC units, but keeping it on low fan helps. For that reason I would not purchase again.

The portable air conditioning unit is easy to install and comes with accessories so it is suitable for distributing different types of windows. It’s quiet, even more so in night mode. Love the remote so you don’t have to get up to make changes. It has wheels and can be moved from room to room!
